I don’t pose enough. So instead of finishing up one stiff drawing every couple of days, I’m trying to spend my time working on faster unfinished drawings that have a rough energy. There rough but I kinda like this idea.
GATÖR…. I drew these out and then threw a layer of color underneath. Its fun to actually draw on paper again, it really brings me back to college days. I’m trying to get all my work ready for CTN in November. Who’s going this year?
I did this one a while back when I was doing the baseball cards thing. I never really finished it because I didn’t like the way it was turning out. But I thought, what the heck I might as well post it up anyways. I still like the idea of doing a whole team of players.
In the clearing stands a boxer and a fighter by his trade And he carries the reminders Of ev’ry glove that layed him down Or cut him till he cried out In his anger and his shame "I am leaving, I am leaving" But the fighter still remains
I wanted to paint this one quick so I tried a new brush and tried to do it as fast and as painterly as possible. I kinda like the result.
